Based in Hawera in the beautiful Taranaki region we began manufacturing solutions for New Zealand businesses and farmers in 1993 under the name Normanby Fibreglass.

High quality mobile feed trough

Originally focused on the manufacture of fibreglass products such as high quality storage tanks, water and stock feeding troughs and specialised industrial products we quickly recognised there was a demand amongst New Zealand farmers for a robust, high quality mobile feed trough.

In response to that demand, troughMOBILE was born in 1996. Recognising the specific demands of farming in New Zealand we developed a unique jockey wheel mounted tow arm. This innovation enables our troughs to be towed behind most leading quad bikes even when fully loaded or being towed in succession. From the development of our first trough we have now expanded to offer a range of over 12 products to suit every type of farming situation and environment, from dairy to beef, sheep to alpacas.
